What better nail polish to wear in all this summery weather then any polish from the Models Own For Tans range! I couldn’t just pick one though, of course!
I had a plan last week, a plan to be really good and blog more….the next day I got sick and spent the next 4 days in bed! But I am back now and starting to feel better. When sick and unable to move I like to peruse around ASOS, I’m a VIP so I get the luxury of picking something and having it delivered the next day! I came across new Ciate polishes under the category pick and mix, I think because they are mini polishes. Today I am wearing Violet Vixen, a mix of purple and gold glitters.
I’ve been so busy creating miniature sized art on my nails that I totally missed that my last post was also my 100th post! That seems so crazy! I had ideas to do something extra special for number 100 but thought I was still a way off from it, well I shall plan something for my 150th post then? Today I tried some stamping using duochrome nail polish, not my favourite polish to wear on my nails but I do love the effect of this mani!
I was in the mood for what I describe as ‘messy play’ nails. Basically nail art that ends up more on your hands than on your nails. It’s been a while since I did some splatter nails, and as I have expressed before I love lack of symmetry! These nails are perfect for me, I can’t predict how they will end up looking!!
Wow it’s been a long time since I last blogged, life sometimes can get so crazy busy but I haven’t stopped my nail art just need to get them on here!!
When I first started writing blogs I found myself doing a lot of Disney nails, so I decided to tone down the Disney and focus more on other nail art. Well some of my family are coming back from Disney World in Florida and I realised that I had tried so hard to do less that I ended up not doing any for a really long time. So today’s nails are inspired by Peter Pan.
It is possible to get a gradient effect without a sponge, it doesn’t have the same effect but I like that.
Have I mentioned MoYou stamping plates yet? I just can’t rave about them enough, I used stamping plates for years before I discovered this brand. I thought it was only available from America so I didn’t even bother to tease myself, but I eventually found that they are from the UK I was so excited! They have so much to offer and its a dream for those who can’t paint masterpieces on their nails freehand!
Why not merge two loves, my love of chocolate and nail art. I adore Hershey Kisses and I appreciate that they are simple to paint!!
