As I’ve said before I love pairing light and darks of the same colour, so that’s what I wanted to do today. I also realised that it had been a while since I had stamped!
I’ve been so busy creating miniature sized art on my nails that I totally missed that my last post was also my 100th post! That seems so crazy! I had ideas to do something extra special for number 100 but thought I was still a way off from it, well I shall plan something for my 150th post then? Today I tried some stamping using duochrome nail polish, not my favourite polish to wear on my nails but I do love the effect of this mani!
I didn’t realise how much I would like this nude colour till I tried it, it’s a lot darker than my others and I just love it! Just wanted plain, pretty, girly nails today so I added bows as a nice touch!
Have you seen some of the new plates that MoYou have released recently? If you have it’s probably because I have mentioned their doodle plates before, but today one of those doodle plates is covered in creatures from the deep blue and I love it!!
It is possible to get a gradient effect without a sponge, it doesn’t have the same effect but I like that.
Have I mentioned MoYou stamping plates yet? I just can’t rave about them enough, I used stamping plates for years before I discovered this brand. I thought it was only available from America so I didn’t even bother to tease myself, but I eventually found that they are from the UK I was so excited! They have so much to offer and its a dream for those who can’t paint masterpieces on their nails freehand!
I have loved nail varnish and nail art for such a long time now, and I love how much nail art has grown and become its own fashion. I am always excited knowing that something new is coming around the corner, and today I tried something new…to me.
I love these chrome polishes from Model’s Own, and I found that last time I used them if you keep brushing the polish it comes off in a way that I quite liked. Almost like the distressed technique, I used Models Own Rose Chrome, and it had an old penny feeling.
Neon nail polish is amazing I love wearing it, super shiny bright nails, but neon polish is also amazing when it’s matte! That’s what I’ve done today, and with a good white base that helps the colour pop.
The sun is definitely around for longer, and that only means one thing when it comes to my nails…Ruby Wing! A nail polish that changes colour when exposed to UV, and for an extra bonus the one I’m wearing today is scented!
