I’m quite excited today about this post, I love reading reviews and I always search for them before buying a product. This product is super new and I couldn’t really find any reviews so I thought, why not write one myself?!
I adore reviews that make you feel like you’ve already used the product, so that’s my aim for this post! firstly I have used Bourjois’ other 1 second nail products and I loved them. I used the nail polish remover and I was amazed by how quickly it removed my nail polish, I soon realised though that isn’t actually magic and doesn’t remove glitter. This also ruined the sponge inside…I digress. So this pot was a little smaller than the nail polish remover pot, if you happen to have seen those, but the sponge with a hole idea on the inside is the same.
I’m not too sure why they feel the need to brag about the 1 second thing, I don’t mind it taking longer. Although it did only take a second to dip a finger in, it does require massaging afterwards. The thing I am happy about is the ease of use, all other oils I have tried come in a nail polish type pot and you have to put the droplets on your nails. I’m not saying it’s life changing but it is a lot more fun!
How can I describe in words the texture… I decided to take a picture of my hand’s straight after I used the product. It has a greasy oil texture to it, but it’s not too thick. I am always hoping for something that will sink in straight away, but I guess if you want it to nourish your hands that just isn’t possible.
All in all it’s a cute little pot and I keep it on my desk at work which is super convenient. It smells fresh, it says floral but I’m leaning more towards a cucumber or aloe vera kind of smell. I have been using it for a day or so and my cuticles do look better and more healthy. I would suggest using it when you have time to let it sink in, I put it on then used my phone…that didn’t go too well!
