When I first started writing blogs I found myself doing a lot of Disney nails, so I decided to tone down the Disney and focus more on other nail art. Well some of my family are coming back from Disney World in Florida and I realised that I had tried so hard to do less that I ended up not doing any for a really long time. So today’s nails are inspired by Peter Pan.
It is possible to get a gradient effect without a sponge, it doesn’t have the same effect but I like that.
Have I mentioned MoYou stamping plates yet? I just can’t rave about them enough, I used stamping plates for years before I discovered this brand. I thought it was only available from America so I didn’t even bother to tease myself, but I eventually found that they are from the UK I was so excited! They have so much to offer and its a dream for those who can’t paint masterpieces on their nails freehand!
Another nude mani today because every so often I love a classic clean neutral nail! Of course I can’t just leave it there, I tried a new stencil, aztec chevrons!
Why not merge two loves, my love of chocolate and nail art. I adore Hershey Kisses and I appreciate that they are simple to paint!!
I have a large supply of acetone simply for cleaning up my nails and so I thought I would see what other uses it has, surely it could be used for some kind of nail art. Well I’ve seen people using it with none other than cotton buds, some people are so creative!
I have loved nail varnish and nail art for such a long time now, and I love how much nail art has grown and become its own fashion. I am always excited knowing that something new is coming around the corner, and today I tried something new…to me.
Todays nails are just so much fun, not only are they amazing to look at but I also had so much fun applying and removing a swirly stencil!
Wow! Just wow…That was my reaction to China Glaze’s new collection Electric Nights, but more specifically to 3 of their polishes which I had to purchase straight away of course! The one I am wearing today is Point me to the Party, it has the feel of an indie polish which is so fun!
So this is was I was attempting to do in my last post, a blobicure manicure!
