Sometimes I like to dabble at a bit of watercolouring, I do it for fun and one of the best bits is when you put your paintbrush in fresh water and makes these amazing patterns under the surface. I attempted to create that same feeling on my nails, and I love them.
I started with the white base and then applied seche vite, this is the most important part as the top coat helps prevent the acetone from removing the base colour.
Once the base has dried I applied a few drops of the grey, OPI Cement the deal. Then with a thick art brush I dabbed on the pure acetone, this is what creates the watercolour effect. I then repeated with the red, OPI Romantically involved.
I love how this ended up, the fun thing about this technique is that you never really know how it’s going to look and also that each nail looks completely different!
